Common questions
- Do you come out to Ballantrae or Musselman's Lake?
- Yes, those are inside our Stouffville coverage. Enter your address when booking and we'll confirm by text or WhatsApp.
- Can you mount new tires onto my rims?
- Our mobile service is for tires that are already mounted on rims. If your tires still need mounting, message us on WhatsApp first.
- How much does a mobile tire swap cost?
- $79.98 per car (special price) for a mobile seasonal swap of tires already on rims. Booking several cars? Each car is $79.98. Pay by cash or Interac e-Transfer.
- How long does it take?
- Usually about 30 to 45 minutes per car, depending on the vehicle, wheel locks and where it is parked. Several cars take proportionally longer.
- What does “tires on rims” mean?
- Your winter or summer tires are already mounted on their own set of rims (wheels). We take one set off and bolt the other on — no tire mounting needed. Our mobile service is currently for rim-mounted sets only.
- When should I switch to winter tires?
- A common rule is once temperatures stay below 7°C — usually late October to November — and back to summer or all-season tires when it is consistently above 7°C in spring. Book early: the first snowfall is the busiest week.
- Is there an insurance discount for winter tires?
- Yes. Ontario requires auto insurers to offer a discount for private vehicles with winter tires installed. Ask your insurer for details.
- How do I book and pay?
- Fill in the form at tirego.ca/book and pick a date and time window — earliest is tomorrow, no same-day jobs (morning or afternoon, plus Friday and Saturday evenings). We confirm by text or WhatsApp. Pay by cash or Interac e-Transfer.
- What should I prepare?
- Have the rim-mounted tires near the car with a little room to work. If your car has wheel locks, have the key ready.
- Do you speak Cantonese or Mandarin?
- Yes — service in Cantonese, Mandarin and English. Choose your language when you book.
